Defending Rush Limbaugh and Free Speech

The First Amendment rights of every citizen are under attack from the U.S. Senate.

Senate Majority leader Harry Reid has sent a letter signed by 40 other liberal senators demanding that Rush Limbaugh's boss "publicly repudiate" Rush's comments about "phony soldiers" and ask Rush to apologize for his comments.

Aside from the fact that the whole controversy has been cooked up by liberals such as Harry Reid, the greatest danger is the Federal government, led by such people as Harry Reid, clamping down on private citizens and telling them what they can and can't say, especially about politics.

We must act now to stop this trampling of our First Amendment rights. Print a copy of Harry Reid's letter by clicking here.

Next, write "Stop Censoring Free Speech" on the front of the letter and send it to:
Harry Reid
528 Hart Senate Building
Washington, D.C. 20510

Let Harry Reid know that you will not give up your free speech rights and will fight for the free speech rights of everyone regardless of their political viewpoint.

You have got to be kidding me! I'm no Harry Reid fan in the first place, but he's way out of line here.

You can bet I'll be sending the letter.
